Temporarily disable your antispyware when downloading messenger. It does not contain any spyware but only small ads on the buttom of the messenger main window.

theres no spyware in yahoo messenger package. i think its just a fake finding in ur spyware software. turn it off while downloading, then turn on again
You can download it without spyware by choosing options. Besides, you should download it directly from Yahoo.
Yahoo products are not the safest. get windows Live Messenger. You can IM Yahoo contacts with it.
