hi i was washing a movie and some window pop up and install it now my computer is crasy poping internet window oferring antispyware and i think the name of the program is xoftspayse something like that cann u u plz tell me how to stop this without buying the product

Sounds like your computer may have a new variant of the ubiquitous Smitfraud infection. Almost all ''general purpose'',''all-in one'' spyware and virus removal programs such as AVG, Norton, or Spybot S %26 D cannot remove it.

If something is offering you to install an antispyware program and asks you to purchase it to protect you, DO NOT BUY IT. IT IS A SCAM.

You should be protected with a REAL antispyware program. I strongly recommend Spyware Terminator. It's free and works great! Scan with it after you install it.

It should be 'Winantivirus pro' or 'Virusprotect pro' or 'Ultimate defender'

Is it giving you fake spyware alerts on the lower right corner of your screen with a blinking yellow triangle?

Ok, download SuperAntispyware from http://www.superantispyware.com and run a complete scan. That usually fixes the issue.

You downloaded a virus. Go to major geek.com and download a registery cleaner but first restart your co mputer and start up in safe mode and remove any new programs you download. THis should help yhou/
