Virus or spyware issues?

My Internet Explorer changes web pages on me on its own when I'm surfing the net. Running Antivirus %26 Antispyware doesn't help. They tell me that there are no issues. Its very annoying. Please help me figure out whats wrong.

It sounds as if your anti virus and anti-spyware programs are not very effective. Which ones are you using? Here is a list of various free products that can help.

AVG has a good personal use Anti-Virus product available at: http://free.grisoft.com

Avast Antivirus, also for non-commercial use is available at: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.ht...

Avira AntiVir Personal Edition is also available for download at http://www.free-av.com , I have not used this a lot and would welcome other comments on it.

The above products include active background scanning modules!

Bitdefender has an excellent scanner and removal tool but does not have any active background protection in the free version that is available at: http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Main/vie...

There are quite a few free anti-spyware programs available! I suggest that users should use at least 3 different products to regularly scan their systems. Most of these products are free for non-commercial use versions that have disabled some features, usually the active resident protection.
