I finally "almost" got it fixed?

I went to use my XP one morning and it was dead except for a stop error message. I used my recovery disk that came with the computer. I had to reinstall drivers from my motherboard CD. Everything is back to normal except it takes forever to open IE. I have SP2, AVG antispyware %26 antivirus. I use Registry Mechanic, Advanced Windows Care, XoftSpyXE, CCleaner, Adaware 2007 and System Mechanic 5. Microsoft updated as well. What in the dicken's do I do now? Thank you.

Use Firefox and for god's sake turn off all those other programs unless u have a quantum computor that would kill ur RAM usage.
try using mozilla firefox. You can import ur bookmarks and everything. you can customize more like themes and plug ins and you can tweak it to go faster.

Tells you things you need to know like add-ons and stuff
dont use IE because it is crap and slow, especially the newer ones, use firefox, much superior
