Spyware emergancy?

OK I've held back asking for help just searching other peoples questions but now it's gone to far. I keep getting this red X on my dashboard or whatever where your little icons are at and stuff. Since then I keep getting messages that pop up some say.

"Windows found Netsky" or "Windows spotted an internet access" They all want me to go and download there own versions of spyware products that I don't trust.

With the netsky I went to download something to find it at symantic did 3 searches but it found nothing. So I used Norton Antivirus didn't find anything.

So thats when I turned to Yahoo answers here I found Super Antispyware remover. Downloaded that and it found it's fair share of trojans but I'm still getting the messages then I tryed Ad aware again found it's fair share of spyware but alas these messages still com annoying me. Now it's just gone to far it slows my computer down making unable to watch videos, but on top of that now it changed my Desktop can anyone help?

Try re-running the antispyware and antivirus programs in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode, reboot and then either hold down or tap the F8 key repeatedly while the computer is starting up. Delete anything found then, after cleaning your system, disable System Restore, reboot and re-enable System Restore when you log back on. This will clear the malware that may still be lurking in System Restore, which could be reinstalled should you need to rollback at some point. Additionally, a reboot may be required to complete the malware removal process. For reasons this should be done after and not before malware removal, see the webpage below:
