Cannot change my homepage from a SPYWARE AD back to Yahoo.com?

From the answers I have received so far, I obviously did not make myself clear. I have an antispyware program already loaded and have scanned my harddrive twice. This still does not allow me to change my homepage from the SPYWARE AD PAGE to Yahoo.com which is where I want my hompage to be. HOW DO I GET RID OF THE SPYWARE AD PAGE and change it to Yahoo.com permanently????????????? I want to make this AD go away so that Yahoo.com will stay as my homepage!!!!!!

go to tools - internet options.

change your home page there.

If it changes back, you havent gotten rid of the spyware yet. If you get rid of it permanently, the home page will not change anymore.

There are several out there, so it would be helpful if you provided the name of the toolbar / ad.

Try Online scanner GarbageClean http://www.GarbageClean.com it does pretty good cleaning.
