Why can't I access my Yahoo email?

A technician cleaned up a virus on my laptop, then added new antispyware and antivirus programs. I installed Internet Explorer 7 (from Yahoo). All my old programs work fine since these changes were done except that I can not access my Yahoo email. My Microsoft email works fine. I have tried accessing Yahoo email through the Yahoo webpage, through Yahoo Messenger, and from www.yahoo.com/mail. None work. Each time I try there is a long delay followed by an error message saying that there is either a connection problem or the email system is down. Since this has happened many time over more than 24 hours and my internet connection is working for other web sites, The error message is not answering the question. Anyone have a suggestion?

I don't know the answer to your question either, because my yahoo email is acting the same way!! Strangely enough, when I try to access my yahoo mail from a different computer, I can get in to it!! This is so crazy!!! I get the very same error message that you do, and am able to get into every other kind of internet access/browser and no problems... I can even access my contacts on the yahoo mail, just can't open my mail!! Very frustrating!!!! By the way, I did delete all cookies and history... still didn't help!!
I have the same problem! The "preview" window shows that I have 21 new emails, but when I click to "View All Mail" the system always gives an error msg. It's been out of commission for days! Make me just want to go to Gmail...
