Norton 360 All-In-One not protecting against mutliple viruses?

i have norton 360 All-In-One on my pc, but i also have some huge virus.

the sypmtoms are:

-when i log onto a user, all there is is a black screen with my documents open. i have to go to windows task manager to open explorer.exe to get anything working.

-on google, (only on internet explorer) it says: ERROR! your server has been hi-jacked! I cant then access any page from it because ot comes up with some strange software advert thing.

-on internet explorer and when i'm looking through my documents, every time you open a new page it says: your computer was infected by an unknown trojan! yada, yada, yada Click OK to download the antispyware software...etc...

- every 10-20 mins a popup says: you're sytem is infected and stuff like that.

I have norton 360 which says my computer is fine! it says it cant find anything wrong with it.

anyone know why?

I had a similar problem with Norton 360 , not recognizing and treating the "IE defender" spy ware.

After a whole day of trying other programs to remedy, I ended up.

go to system tools

Internet options

advance

reset.

I then had to reset all my settings, which was a chore, but the problem was by passed.

Just keep this in mind for after you try everything else.
