a web page opens selling antispyware .there was a trojan virus as well but i got rid of that but the icon remains with a red x through it

I highly recommend identifying the BS "anti syware" name - website name, then Google it. You will find 10 solutions to actually rid the entire trojan - and may even need to dl a specific fix to rid your registry keys, where a good amount of this crap resides.

Hopefully its a known rogue trojan, spyware that has a "quick fix" through an updated definition for most for fee and freeware programs, if not - some tweaking may be required, that I mention above.

what ever you do don't buy the rubbish it's trying to sell, they try to sell stuff by scaremongering and is generally ineffective and is usually adware in it's self
The thing that is flashing is a virus itself! Dont click it!

I have already gone thru this! It says things like you have a trojan or keyloger "download this anti-spyware to get rid of it" DONT DO IT!

It is all a virus!
nod 32 will get rid of all this

get spybot search %26 destroy its free and works great to get rid of spyware and malware
easy - buy a new computer
